Overnight Expectations

Our overnight staff is paramount to ascertaining that Wag’n Worlds’ standards of care for our overnight guests are met. Overnight attendees are to ensure all dogs and the building are safely maintained throughout the night. (Take notes of any abnormal behavior/health issues to report to Management/Leads)

MONITORING DOGS AND THEIR KENNELS:

  • If dog(s) have an accident in their kennel during the night, remove them from that kennel and place them into another kennel while you clean it up and then place them back in their original kennel. If we have a full house- Groom Room kennels will serve for holding kennels while you clean up a soiled kennel.

  • Launder any soiled belongings. (Be sure to record ANYTHING you wash from a kennel on the Laundry Log mounted on wall next to washer and dryer in the Groom Room)

  • Remove food boats from kennels if they have finished their food.

  • Be sure everyone has water in their steel bowls.

  • Throw away all wet food. Only save dry food if specified on the food boat. (It will say “save if not eaten”)

  • Pay attention to the boarding dogs. (Most of them will tell you if they need another potty break)

  • Follow all company policies
